The Cedars Capital Campaign

Video projects that make a difference are always ones that we hold near and dear to our heart. The Cedars, an assisted living facility in Portland, ME, is trying to change the way we view housing for the elderly. As part of their Capital Campaign, The Cedars is raising the funds to help transition into the household living model. This would allow their seniors to maintain their freedom, while as the same time getting the help they need in their later years.

Along with the folks from Garrand Partners, we spent we spent four days getting to know the residence. From an artist, to a Holocaust survivor, and a doctor to a legislator, we heard stories of hope and perseverance as it applied to aging. It was four days I will never forget.

George Marcus, the campaign chairman for The Cedars, implores you to help with their transition to the household model of living.
