This past weekend, Bonfire Films returned to the Sanford International Film Festival with our newest short White Drift. We love everything about this Maine based festival, especially their Horror Friday line up of films, and to be part of it was excellent. We were even more honored to learn we were nominated in 4 categories: Best Horror, Best Maine Films, Best Actor (Sean Carmichael) and Best Director (Corey Norman).
Saturday evening, after 2 days of binge watching some amazing films (Including Chris Goodwin’s brilliant film “On the 7th Date”), we attended the award ceremony. Besides eating some great food, and engaging in conversation with other likeminded film folk, we ended up winning two awards: Best Maine Film and Best Actor (Sean Carmichael). It was an honor to accept these awards, and we’ve very proud of everything actor Sean Carmichael brought to the role of Peter. Congratulations Sean, you deserve this one!
